Korean Terminology - Kicking Techniques

Being a traditional martial art, instruction in Kuk Sool is given in both Korean and English. Following are translations of the most commonly used Korean terms for leg or kicking techniques.

Classes are safe for kids!

Kuk Sool is a highly supervised activity. The children are never asked to perform any movement that would put them in danger of injury.

Our Little Dragons curriculum has been specifically designed to accommodate students between the ages of 4 and 8. This curriculum has been modified so children of those ages can successfully learn to perform all the moves necessary to excel.

Kuk Sool Won teaches young children the following important skills:

Focus and concentration for improved grades in school.

Respect for self and others to improve the quality of life for your child and your community.

Fitness and preparedness to be able to defend yourself and protect others.

Confidence and self-esteem to walk proud and tackle anything life throws your way.

Team building to be able to work well with others and develop friendships and healthy peer groups.
